Modular Retention
The Apex 4 Chest Rig features four configurable magazine-retention options, allowing you to tailor the rig to your mission and magazine type:
- Open Top (No Retention) — Optimized for AK-style PMAGs where speed and friction fit are preferred.
- Kydex Inserts — Provides rigid, positive retention for steel AK magazines, AR/M4 PMAGs, and STANAG magazines.
- S&S Precision Pull-Tab Bungee — A low-profile elastic system designed for AR/M4 PMAGs and STANAG magazines, balancing security and rapid access.
- SCALE Flaps (AR) — Our protective, low-signature flap system for AR/M4 PMAGs and STANAG magazines, offering maximum retention and environmental protection.
